RCIA Registration

Registration for the RCIA Class of 2018 has begun.  If you are interested in joining the Catholic Church or if you are Catholic, and interested in learning more about the Catholic Church, this class may be for you.  It will begin in mid to late August and meet on Thursday evenings (except holidays) through Easter.  Non Catholics who complete this course may be received into full membership in the Church through the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults at the Easter Vigil on Saturday, March 31, 2018

Natural Family Planning

It's Time to Say "Yes" to God's Plan for Married Love!  July 23-July 29, 2017 has been designated as National NFP Awareness Week by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.  

Natural Family Planning Awareness Week is a national educational campaign.  There is a FREE Natural Family Planning (NFP) Full Course July 29th in Charlotte at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Topics to be covered include effectiveness of modern NFP methods, health risks of popular contraceptives, benefits of NFP including health, relational, and spiritual, Church teaching on responsible parenting, and how to use NFP.  For more information or to register, contact Batrice Adcock, MSN, at Catholic Charities 704-370-3230 or bnadcock@charlottediocese.org.

Members of the Knights of Columbus pray the Rosary together prior to the 11:00 AM Mass whenever there is a 5th Sunday in a month.  Join the Knights for this meaningful worship time at around 10:40 AM on Sunday, July 30, prior to Mass.  Contact Mike Ihnat at 512-923-1556 or mikeihnatsr@gmail.com for more information.  

The Knights of Columbus host an informal breakfast social every 1st Tuesday of the month at about 7:30 AM.  Venues vary so watch the website and bulletins for each month's location. Second Wednesday's Monthly Covered Dish Luncheon will be downstairs in Pat Jones Hall at the Church on Wednesday, August 9 immediately following the 12:15 PM Mass.  Parishioners of all ages from all Masses and guests are invited.  Bring your favorite dish or dessert to share.
