We continually work to nurture the spiritual, educational, and social development of God’s people. Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit we strive to respond to the needs of our community, remain a close and vibrant Parish family, and grow in Faith and numbers.

Holy Hour is the Roman Catholic devotional tradition of spending an hour in Eucharistic adoration in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament. A plenary indulgence is granted for this practice.
In 1673 Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque stated that she had a vision of Jesus in which she was instructed to spend an hour every Thursday night to meditate on the sufferings of Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane. This practice later became widespread among Roman Catholics.
Holy Hour, at St. Elizabeth, is observed on Wednesdays. Join us for an hour of Prayer, Reconciliation, and Adoration beginning at 5:00 PM every Wednesday.
Stations of the Cross or the Way of the Cross, also known as the Way of Sorrows or the Via Crucis, refers to a series of images depicting Jesus Christ on the day of his crucifixion and accompanying prayers. The stations grew out of imitations of Via Dolorosa in Jerusalem which is believed to be the actual path Jesus walked to Mount Calvary. The object of the stations is to help the Christian faithful to make a spiritual pilgrimage through contemplation of the Passion of Christ. It has become one of the most popular devotions in Christianity.
Each Friday during Lent, St. Elizabeth of the Hill Country observes this traditional devotion beginning at 7:00 PM in the Sanctuary. All are welcome to join and be part of this spiritual pilgrimage.
