Schedule Changes

Mass at 12:15 PM on Wednesday, September 26 is cancelled.  Masses at 9:30 AM on Thursday and Friday, September 27 and 28 are cancelled.  All weekday Confessions are cancelled.  Holy Hour for Wednesday, September 26 is cancelled.

If you have a Sacramental Emergency during the week of September 24 through September 28, please call the Parish Office for assistance. 

Novena for Confirmation Candidates

All parishioners are invited to join in praying a nine day Novena to the Holy Spirit for our Confirmation Candidates beginning on Sunday, September 23.  Meet in the sanctuary in time to begin the Novena at the posted time.  Copies of the prayer will be provided to those faithful who attend.  Prayer times are:Sunday, September 23 at 10:30 AM, Monday and Tuesday, September 24 and 25 at 5:30 PM, Wednesday, September 26 at 6:00 PM, Thursday and Friday, September 27 and 28 at 5:30 PM, Saturday, September 29 at 4:00 PM, Sunday, September 30 at 10:25 AM, Monday, October 1st at 5:30 PM.

,This Week at Catholic Campus Ministtry

 College Students, Heads Up!!!  Catholic Campus Ministry has lots of things going on and you're invited to join us.  Nothing special is required.  Just be here and introduce yourself to anyone you haven't yet met.  The CCM House is located on Faculty Street behind IHOP and just down the street from the Holmes Convocation Center.

CCM Men's and Women's Small Groups  meet at the CCM House on Tuesdays at 7:00 PM.  Come on by and join us.

CCM members and interested students are invited to join us for Dinner, Reflection, Fellowship, and Fun at the CCM House on Faculty Street at 7:00 PM every Wednesday.

Friday Night Game Night will be at 8:00 PM at the CCM House on Faculty Street.  Come on out and join us!

We're starting Saturday off with our first Service Event of the year.  Meet at CCM at 10:00 AM to carpool to St. E. to pray The Rosary for our Corporal Work of Mercy this month.  Rosaries will be provided.  Be there!

Tailgate Saturday begins around Noon on Saturday at the CCM House.  Afterwards, we plan to go on to the game and attend as a group.  Food and football wth CCM at Appstate.  Could it really get any better?

Saturday's Vigil Mass at St. E is at 4:30 PM.  If you have a problem getting a ride, call or text 828-266-8553 for carpooling or ride assistance.

Sunday Mass at St.. E will be at 11:00 AM.  The Spanish Language Mass follows at 1:00 PM for those more comfortable with or interested in the Spanish Language Mass.  Go to the CCM Facebook Group to sign up for Sunday 11:00 AM Mass rides to and from the Appstate campus area.

Worship Assistant Schedules for Lectors and Extraordinary Ministers of the Holy Eucharist for October are available in the Gathering Space.  They may also be seen for each date in October on the Events Calendar of this website.  If you cannot be available on a scheduled date, please contact Ed Herring so that appropriate changes can be made.  

The November schedules are being prepared.  If you would like to be added to the schedules for November, contact Ed Herring at reded658@gmail.com or 828-266-8553.  If you haven't served before or haven't trained for either ministry, training and assistance will be provided for you.

Those wishing to place announcements in our weekly bulletin can fill out a form available at the Parish Office or you can just click HERE to access the online form, fill it out, and electronically submit it.  Forms must be received by noon on the Monday prior to the requested bulletin date.
