Knights of Columbus
The Knights of Columbus is the world's largest Catholic fraternal service organization. Social and intellectual fellowship is promoted among members and their families through educational, charitable, religious, social welfare, war relief and public relief works. St. Elizabeth of the Hill Country is fortunate to have a very active group of men who form the local Council and participate in numerous local fundraisers and activities which benefit the community as a whole. In particular, the local Council has placed an emphasis on helping children with disabilities and assisting locally based organizations which promote the sanctity of the lives of the unborn.
The Knights currently meet on the 3rd Monday of each month for an open social and closed business meeting. They meet informally on the 1st Tuesday of each month for breakfast at Sunrise Grill on Highway 105 to which all are invited.. They also meet on the 2nd Friday of each month at Pepper's in the shopping center on Shadowline. All are invited to this family friendly event.
